- Manage Daily operations oversee all projects develop new business
- Led the daily operations of the business intelligence team. This included overseeing all projects, and architecting all solution design that our team implemented. Tasked with creating re-usable work product to enable an offshore business model. Built an offshore presence. Created a BI version of all applicable AIM documentation in order to streamline our requirement gathering, development, and migration efforts. Maintained internal, development, and demonstration instances that were used to develop software, manage our business, and demo OBIEE to prospective clients. Worked with the sales team to create demo's out of Visions that were customized to each client. Drove business development by contributing to our BI Blog and presenting at user group conferences. All of this was done while maintaining a 90 bill rate. Project Manager and Lead Developer - Created a software accelerator which is a bolt on solution for Oracle e-Business Suite. Oracle's pre built Business Intelligence Application does not show real time data, and does not provide users with professional financial statements. The software accelerator fills this void by reporting real time data out of Oracle Financials to create professional balance sheets and income statements and standard financial metrics like Gross Profit Margin, Working Capital, and Current Ratio. - Installed and configured OBIEE 11G. Created a data warehousing solution using OWB. The legacy database only held information about balance changes. In order to create reports that had sub second response times, the data warehouse needed to hold balances on each day, not just the changes in balances. In addition, monthly, quarterly, and yearly measures could not be aggregated from the more detailed levels, and needed to be pre-calculated. This lead to aggregates being sourced from different base tables,

Installed and configured OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0. Upgraded to 11.1.1.6.0, 11.1.1.6.2, 11.1.1.7.0. Created custom reports based off of Banner and SunGard's Prebuilt Oracle Operational Data Store. These reports were used by the president of the university to view the health of the university every morning, with the ability to see all the data aggregated and the ability to drill down to the lowest level of detail available. Managed a team of 8 developers to create a library of 200 reports, 20 distinct business models off of ODS OLAP and Banner OLTP sources, including GL, Grants, Payroll, HR, and Institional Advancement.

Work closely with a 5 person team to develop an enterprise data warehouse from the ground up. OBIEE was chosen as BI Tool and front end application, TeraData was chosen as the database, and Informatica was used to load the data. - Created custom EDW star schemas to hold all sales and contract information. This data was loaded from Oracle R12, a custom Oracle Application, Changepoint, and Salesforce.com, and Lotus Notes.

- Customized all of the prebuilt subject areas to load additional data to the existing star schemas as well as creating entire supplemental star schemas

Senior Technical Consultant, Data Warehouse
After an acquisition of a smaller bank Market Cap approx 50B , legacy GL systems were integrated with Oracle GL, including over 200 nightly feeds. OBIEE was chosen as the reporting tool for GL end users. Worked with VP's to gather reporting requirements.
- Designed a star schema to warehouse information that did not come with pre-built OBIEE Subject Areas. This information included daily year to date averages, daily period to date averages, and end of day balances, in both functional, foreign entered, and foreign converted currencies.
- Installed Informatica Power Center and OBIEE.
- Created nightly ETL using Informatica Power Center to extract data from Oracle EBS and load into the data warehouse.
- Modified pre-built ETL, and the pre-built Data Warehouse to extract and hold additional information about GL transactions and accounts.
- Performance tuned the data warehouse to achieve sub second response time.
- Created dashboards for the end users to view the data.
- Integrated OBIEE authentication with a Microsoft Active Directory, and automated OBIEE authorization, using data warehouse database tables. Allowed administration of db tables through a write back report within answers.

Senior Technical Consultant, Data Warehouse Developer
TSI is the company that owns NY Sports club, Philadelphia Sports Club, etc. They required a data warehouse to organize information about their memberships, member services, and AR modules.
- Designed ELT using ODI to pull data from 3 different databases and a file system where 3rd parties sent invoice and banking information.
- Designed star schemas to hold customer information, location information, membership, billing and AR information.
- Part of this project involved creating PL/SQL packages and triggers, along with an ODI ELT to update banking information in their OLTP database.
Technical Consultant, ETL Developer
- Over the years, Ametek had acquired many different subsidiaries, and left their OLTP systems intact. In order to maintain one system of record for reporting purposes, ETL's needed to be created to move data into the reporting system.
- Custom ETL solution to manage nightly/daily processes
- Created ETL's most of which were simply extracts and loads from one Oracle GL module to another, using Informatica.
- Developed a scheduling process to run the Informatica workflows as needed. Some needed to be run every minute, others on a nightly basis.
- Utilized file movement and Informatica events to accomplish the scheduling of the workflows.

- Oracle discoverer 10g implementation: The Company was migrating away from their current data warehouse, using discoverer to report off of an Oracle 11i EBS system instead. This included creating over 20 custom reports for OM, Projects, AR, AP, and PO. Custom views needed to be created to join Projects, OM, and AR data.
- Projects Implementation: Developed a solution to automatically update the project manager, time categories, and approval codes each time a PM was changed on a specific project, so the correct user would receive approval notices. This was necessary due to the high volume of projects the client managed.
- XML Bursting Implementation: This takes advantage or Oracle's built in Document Processing Engine, along with the seeded XML Publisher Functionality, but still requires custom Java Concurrent Procedures to tie the two together. The client had a need to email invoices to their customers, for both projects invoices and standard invoices, in two different styles for each type of invoice. This required customization to Customer Standard, several Java Concurrent programs, XML Bursting Functionality and Oracle reports knowledge.

- Worked closely with a 10 person project team, including the CIO and the VP of operations. The project was to create a completely custom solution to recognize revenue.
- This solution interfaced AR transactions to a credit card vendor, and received transmissions back, interfacing with a receivables system, to create receipts for invoices.
- The custom solution also included programs in Cash management that interfaced with their bank to load individual and joint statements, reconciling those statements with the previously mentioned receipts.
- The solution was a complete custom solution, and had to account for every business scenario possible credit memo, on account receipts, etc. .
- This also included reporting on all the custom programs, as well as all the data that it affected.

- Created and modified existing Oracle report output using XML Publisher also BI Publisher to transform them into customer facing documents for OM, PO, WIP/Ship.
- The reporting piece included creating AR Invoices, Purchase Orders, Financial Statements, Work Orders, Pick Slips, Dunning Letters, SO Acknowledgements, Quotes, Receipt Travelers, and Transaction Registers.
- The pick tickets and work orders and barcodes for each item on the pick slip, and each step on the work order. These items, and WIP steps were scanned, then the data was uploaded and interface with Oracle to update the WIP steps and inventory.
