MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Completed upgrade from SAP Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.3 to SAP Business Objects BI Platform 4.1 operating on a Windows 2008 R2 server. Upgrade required customized setup with single sign-on, user security and moving reporting repository to the new server.
• Produced successful DC Operational KPI reporting for Source Interlink using SDLC process and coordinated UAT. Developed usingMS SQL Server 2008 R2, SSIS, and SAP Universe Design v12. Report development was created using SAP Business Objects XI 3.3.
• In support of a major business initiative updating single vendor cost agreements to multiple cost agreements an overhaul with active Business Objects Universes and custom TSQL queries used to book financial transactions was solved by implementing a successful design allowing the continuation of accurate AP Cost reporting for Source Interlinks Finance team. In addition, new Business Objects reports were created to support audit review of AP Cost assignment for Source's Internal Operations.
• Reduced inventory shrink in Source Interlink distributions centers by creating pick line reports for the Operations group. Reports identified internal invoice adjustments at our distribution centers allowing better control on invoice adjustments and satisfying our clients requested orders. Developments were accomplished by using MS SQL Server 2008 R2, SSIS, and Business Objects v3.3.
• Increased sell-through by designing universes using relational data tables from multiple sources that provided Source Interlinks Category Management a simpler approach to build ad hoc reporting for allocation purposes. All developments were accomplished by using MS SQL Server 2008 R2and Business Objects v3.3.
• Provided solutionsto improve method used for analysis on accounts payable transaction data for Source Interlinks Trade Payables departmenthelping resolve reconciling differences between Sources Interlink and National Distributors. This also provided a channel of communication between Finance and Trade Payables allowing better view of Trade Payables transactions. Developments were accomplished by using MS SQL Server 2008 R2 and Business Objects v3.3.
• Ensured smooth transition with migration of Oracle data and newly developed SSIS Packages into MSSQL environment by performing parallel data testing between the two environments using both ad hoc Oracle SQL and T-SQL code. Assistedbusiness users with UAT process and received sign offs with data testing on existing SAP Business Object Web Intelligence reports that moved over to newly created Sales Data Mart developed with SAP Universe Designer v12.
• Established a successful Business Glossary and IT Data Dictionaryused throughout Source Interlink.
