Regular Price Optimization:
RPO is an integrated system of SAS RPO (Third Party Organization) solution with RPM. The project creates and transfers the weekly sales, inventory, price, and cost and promotion information to SAS. Followed by, pre-processing the optimized price files (from SAS) and induct the regular price changes into the existing price execution batch. This involves initial data cleansing followed by conflict checks to ensure the regular price changes are processed in RPM with fewer exceptions.

Coupon Management Systems (CMS)
The Coupon Management System (CMS) gets the coupon SKUs from Retek system. Initially there was a full load and subsequently only the delta will be sent to the Coupon Management System. The Coupon events and the related offers are sent to the Point of Sale system (POS) via the ISP.A file is created in CMS for all valid events and this file is sent by Xcellenet across to the ISP system. From the ISP system, this file will be sent to the POS via the EALMOVE process.

Retek Reporting:
Michaels Ad Planners/Buyers, plan and forecast their promotional offers and events in PROMOTE application. Promote application include both US and Canada Stores in the calculation for determining the forecast units. Also Promote looks at store on hands, on-orders, in transit values to accurately determine the forecast units, sales and margin. These values are not interfaced to Retek. Forecast Sales, Margin is calculated for all stores without taking into account the store on hand or what's in transit…resulting in the mismatch between the numbers reported in promote versus what is being reported in retek. This project aims at syncing up retek with promote by taking the forecast values from promote and loading into retek.
