The development of relational databases includes creating tables, indexes, constraints and the coding of stored procedures, functions and triggers. Application development includes effective user interfaces for data entry, business objects, data tracking, reports and utilities.

Recent experience has been creating meta-data universes and developing reports. Current experience is developing information assurance applications and databases.

Requirements gathering and analysis, documentation, coding standards and developing beta test scripts have all been performed for many applications.

Designs and develops Information Assurance applications and databases for the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). These are being developed in MS Access with extensive use of VBA. Application development includes user interface, business objects, utilities and reports. Access database development includes design and creation. There is extensive output using VBA to Excel spreadsheets with cell by cell mapping including complex formulas. Various utilities have been coded using VBA to import from Excel spreadsheets.

Designed meta-data universes and developed reports with Business Objects reading a large Navy financial Oracle database.

Designed and developed a Visual Foxpro front end to download government data as XML files and to import and cleanse large data tables in mySQL using stored procedures.

Developed reports in SQL-Server Reporting Services (SSRS) .

Designed and developed the NWF Table Generator using C# and SQL-Server.

Designed and developed an Order / Receiving application and database for a manufacturer using Visual Foxpro and SQL-Server.

Developed the Annuity Payment System (APS) and was the technical lead managing two other developers and a beta tester. Designed and developed the relational database and created an object-oriented framework for the application. The APS was developed with Visual Foxpro. The Reserves module was flowcharted using MS Visio.

Assisted in the development of the Clinical Knowledge Management (CKM) application and database. The original software was Visual Foxpro with its native DBF, SQL-Server or Oracle databases. Assisted in the logical and physical design using ER-Win of an OLAP database to utilize Teradata.

Several other applications and databases developed as an independent include: legal, laboratory management systems, project management and others. These were written with Visual Foxpro with either its native DBF or SQL-Server databases.

Developed a C# application based on company specifications as part of the hiring process with the data stored as XML based on an XML schema.

Provided maintenance and enhancement to existing applications written in Visual Foxpro with a SQL-Server database. Started some of the code for the conversion from Foxpro to C#.
