Responsibilities:

• Provided assistance in establishing roles in Access Control for the Online Delivery System (ODS) group. Created technical documentation concerning roles required in Access Control. Access Control determines which level of access an individual needs to complete his/her duties. ODS feeds data to the branch teller network and other applications thus different levels of access was needed for tellers, branch administrators and developers. Provided production support for ODS.

Responsibilities:

• Installed, updated and maintained many financial software packages. Documented procedures for all installation of software packages and in-house programs for emergency situations. Modified, created and/or tested batch and online jobs using JCL.
• Oversaw multiple installations (which includes coding, testing and debugging) of the General Ledger system ( Confidential - Infopoint Financial Control System). One installation was completed within an eight month timeframe (the usual installation is greater than 12 months). Confidential is a COBOL based software package. Installation included the Confidential online package (FCO). FCO is a COBOL/CICS based software package. Set up production and test jobs (JCL) for daily, monthly and year-end work. Created very flexible interface programs that read and reformatted data from several input sources for General Ledger processing. Provided ongoing Confidential support and worked with the accounting department on solving problems with the General Ledger system. Expanded amount of history viewed on FCO system. Created in-house Confidential /FCO technical documentation for support purposes and user demonstrations.
• Installed KO during a bank conversion. Learned how Confidential and KO interact with each other, made system enhancements to KO and educated bank officials in the auto finance department on how to use the KO online system.
• Installed multiple releases of Confidential (Safe Box Accounting System). Confidential is a COBOL/CICS software package used in managing safe deposit boxes. Set up production and test jobs for daily, monthly and year-end work. Developed interface between Confidential and CIF (Customer Information System) for accessing customer information (customer name and address, account numbers and etc.). Aided in the conversion of safe deposit accounts during bank acquisitions. Provided Confidential support for the bank. Created in-house Confidential technical documentation for support purposes and user demonstrations.
• Created an online cross-reference program for bank's conversions permitting users to find converted new account numbers for an old converted account number and vice-versa. This cross-reference program was written in COBOL/CICS.
• Utilized Easytrieve in creating in-house reports for data validation and for debugging purposes. Created output files using Easytrieve to feed data to other applications or to correct data within a file.
