- Development of Client reporting using Teradata.
- This position involved ETL from Teradata Data Warehouse and loading intermediate Teradata staging tables for external client reporting.
- The ETL from the Data Warehouse uses BTEQ and Fast Export. Extracts from the staging tables was performed using Batch Mainframe Processes which executed BTEQ and Fast Export utilities. The queries used Perm, Global Temp, and Volatile tables.
- I was also responsible for creating the DDL for all target and intermediate tables as well as various View definitions.
- SQL Assistant (Queryman) was used for developing the SQL. I also developed a COBOL symbolic conversion program allowing the same SQL scripts to be run in various environments without having to manually change the Database name.

- I was involved in all phases of the project life cycle including developing technical program specifications, coding, and unit testing batch and online modules as well as DB2 Stored Procedures.
- These projects center around the design of a Corporate Wide Transaction Database and conversion of all VSAM files to DB2.
- I was also part of the design team to develop the Secured Internet PIN Reminder project.
- This project involved writing a Stored Procedure to decrypt the customer PIN stored in DB2, re-encrypt it in ISO 0 format, and return the newly encrypted PIN to the calling application. All systems are CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
