I am an experienced (over 27 years) and highly successful Mainframe Centric problem solver and solutions architect. Over the years, and many different projects,
I have been trained and used Project Management tools
Operating Systems installation/maintenance on distributed and mainframe platform administration; third party Software installation/support; QA/Testing, developed maintained debugged and analyzed program code in several languages (COBOL, PL/1, REXX); analyzed metrics for performance and/or capacity purposes using SAS;
CICS teleprocessing software installation, program and development, and supported CICS;
Relational database installation and support of MSSQL SQLSERVER, DB2 and IMS, VSAM, Batch, and TSO. Network experience with SNA VTAM and TCPIP and more.
My career targets are to remain mainframe centric and work in the following areas: Performance and Capacity; QA testing; big data analysis with SAS; Computer Room management; or Project Management areas.
I am also interested in being more involved with mainframe implementations using Hadoop, data mining, and big data analysis.
