MF2MR (Mainframe to Midrange) is a re-host project to migrate 3 of Western Union applications which are presently running on mainframe platform to midrange Micro focus platform. The applications migrated are Convenience pay (CPAY), UCP (Universal Card Platform) and RMO (Retail Money Order). The Project involves modifications in online and batch programs with respect to DB2 key words which are not supported by Micro Focus, Converting Mainframe files of EBC format to ASCII format, testing of migrated code in Micro Focus, Emergency/Temporary Abend-Fix.Responsibilities:

• Built new and/or modify existing program to meet systems and design specifications including program/module design, coding, and unit/integration testing and code reviews.
• Modified existing online (COBOL- DB2-CICS) and batch programs and run on Micro Focus platform.
