Sell software to optimize DMSII databases from 20 up to 95%. Oe of the projects was i Domiica Republic with Bareservas. We improved i 42% the performace of their overight batch process. It usually took 11 hours to ru, causig a delay at opeig the service i the braches. With this software, we made it ru i 6.5 hours.

Systems Maager for Ford Credit

I replaced the former Systems Maager. My resposibilities i this positio was to fill the requiremets of hardware, software ad services to the ed users, as well as services to the customers. My group ad me had meetigs with the ed users to kow all their requiremets for the existig ad ew modules of the fiacial system. I was i charge of aroud 30 people, amog aalysts, programmers, techical support, systems support for the ed users ad support for the customers. I had also to coordiate implemetatios with the cetral group i Brazil for the differet coutries of Lati America, like Mexico, Veezuela, Brazil ad Argetia.

Helped to move LIC specificatios from Mexico (LIC 15 i A6FX) to Australia (LIC 16 i A16).
Developed utilities i ALGOL, COBOL ad WFL to automate the overight process, such as deletig old files o disk, checkig actual populatios of the database, etc.
Wrote a utility i ALGOL to covert the prit backup files to data files, as a requiremet from the ed users to see ad maipulate those files i Excel.
Provided techical support about LIC, DMSII, COMS, etc. to the developmet team. I was leadig a 5 people team.
I had the resposibility of providig support of the Overight process i case of ay problem with it. I used a Iteret dialup to coect to Australia to the A16. It took me several moths to stabilize it ad leave it without ay error or problem.
I fixed several problems with the Ivoicig System, like redudat iterest charges to customers, wrog applicatio of paymets, wrog calculatio of taxes, etc., which helped to save importat amouts of moey.
