  • Smartstream/TLM is a vendor product supplied by the Smartstream Technologies Corporation (STL), which runs on IBM H70 and F50 Unix servers, using an Oracle database.
  • The Swift_server Generic Reformatter is a programming tool used to convert a flat file related to cash, security positions, or security transactions into a fully compliant SWIFT file ready for input into Smartstream.
  • The control file is used to load the data files into the feeds tables. The process is loaded via SQL.
  • Stored procedures are used to load data into the swift_server table. The stored procedure does not solely transfer the data from the feeds table to the swift_server table. Any feed specific data manipulation is performed by the stored procedure.
