Duties and Responsibilities:

An Xoserve ( 3rd party to National Grid ) driven project. As part of \'FOMSA\' exit, Xoserve ( earlier part of National Grid ) was not suppose to use National Grid\'s systems by July \'09. In order to facilitate Xoserve with the information required to go ahead with daily business. National Grid was supposed to send across data to Xoserve in an agreed format which would be either accepted or rejected by Xoserve.
The rejects records had to be handled at National Grids end and resent by checking the Error code received. The data send across was required to handle an new / change in load requested by Suppliers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Involved in coming up with fields required by Xoserve for National Grids application.
- Come up the interface design to sent across the information to Xoserve in the agreed format and to handle the rejects sent back.
- Identification of scenarios when a rejection could be raised.
- Identify the application level changes, database fields which map to the fields on the application and fields which need to be pre-populated in a format acceptable by Xoserve to avoid rejects.
- Design and build the interface – Extraction interface and Rejection interface.

ERP phase - I aimed at providing ERP solutions to a few identified applications as part of release I. Quotations Application was one such application which was identified and moved into the ERP solution. From the day the ERP would go live, all new connections would be raised in the new ERP solution. However for the live jobs / connections created before the date live date, the details of all such live jobs / connections had to sent across to SAP on a regular basis for Supplier billing purpose.
