The Department of Justice Civil Rights Division has a Geographic Information System (GIS) , which a state-of-the-art system that integrates mapping and analytical capabilities incorporating data from Census Bureau's TIGER System and data sent by states covered by the Voting Rights Act. This data is used by federal attorneys for litigation purposes when the Voting Right Act is presumed to be violated. As a Oracle DBA at Department of Justice Civil Right Division my responsibility of managing 24 Oracle Database Servers include the following:

• Performing database design and development for instances used in test, development and production environments.
• Installation of Oracle 10g and 11g on Sun Solaris (SPARC) and Windows platform.
