Issue Resolution Portal Application allows managing the interactions with the customers of GE Polymerland. The customer normally faces the issues like the Freight claims, Product claims, Returns claims etc in situations when ordering the material. The Customer uses the Issue Resolution portal to log the issues. Depending upon the type of issue, Web Site will lead the user through the process of initiating the issue raised by the customer and distribute to the respective queue. An effort is made to integrate Issues Portal application with the existing CRM application called as Clarify eFrontOffice, whereby any issue that is created in Issues Portal can be tracked and solved in Clarify eFrontOffice. The application takes care of the business methods like creating the issue, solving, forward, rejecting the issue, which were previously handled by Clarify. The daily required data for the reports is extracted using the Database procedures and Ftp'ed to the respective servers using UNIX scripts.
