Project Overview

Client is developing its already existing ERP application in SAP to Oracle EBS R12. The implementation will be completed through three major phases, pilot go live which is Canada, phase 2 will be for US and phase 3 will be considered for rest of the world.

The implementation is carried forward in four major modules, PTP, PTC, HTR and ATC. These modules are developed within Oracle EBS R12. DBU Distribution business unit is one of the leading business division of Client. DBU has taken a decision to revamp the IT of entire business by harmonizing all the Distributors IT operations through implementing Oracle Ebiz R12 and Siebel CRM. The business driver behind this is to have accurate inventory and seamless order capture process across all the distributors across the globe. In order move to Next generation IT there is a huge need for integration of Order Processing business process. Since order capture will be done in Siebel and fulfillment will happen in Ebiz. To support order processing substantial integration will be needed between the ERP systems Siebel CRM and Oracle Ebiz R12 . None the less the 10 more home grown systems that store some data SRT, Failure Code etc which need to integrated with Siebel CRM so the service orders can be captured.

Customers and Items are maintained in MDM i.e. Universal Customer Master UCM and PIM. For order process and MDM integration, available PIPS will be used to reduce development time.
