As a SCM track technical consultant, I was responsible for preparation/review of technical designs, Test plans, build, unit testing, handling client requests, troubleshooting and co-ordination.
- Proficiency in SQL/Data Loader. Created complex code for loading Purchase Orders manually during the System Testing phase.

Project Description:
The project was one of the biggest IT project’s of the company, aimed at implementing a global financial, order management, and logistics system using Oracle Applications as the platform. Europe was chosen as the first Implementation site (known as phase 1). Infosys undertook end-to-end implementation starting with Project Conceptualization carrying through solution Design, development, testing, cut-over and post go-live support.
I was involved in implementation of Oracle Apps 11.5.10.2 of Oracle Process Manufacturing suite, OPM; Order Management and Inventory modules for the EMEA rollout phase for a US based Coffee Retail Company. As a SCM track technical consultant, I was responsible for preparation / review of technical designs, test plans, key role in planning and execution of Integration Test, System Test , handling client requests, troubleshooting and co-ordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- To translate functional requirements into Technical Specifications, development and testing of RICE Components in Oracle, PL/SQL.
- Involved in the development of Interfaces.
- Involved in Conversion from Legacy to Oracle. Designed, developed and tested On-Hand Inventory Conversions e.g., uploaded the Transaction data from Legacy system to Oracle Inventory and perform validations and Error handling of legacy data before importing and Stock Locators Conversion.
- Used Procedures, Cursors and Functions to code various interfaces and implemented many features for the optimization of Procedures.
- Designed / Developed and Tested PL/SQL Packages and Oracle Reports according to the timelines specified. Actively debugged the PL/SQL code to resolve errors encountered in various test phases.
- Provided the maintenance and testing support for the Project whenever required.
- Developed and tested OTC and FTP Reports using Report Builder 6i as per the client requirements and also developed XML Publisher Reports if the output required was of type PDF or EXCEL.
- Prepared RIPE components (Re-usable components) for both conversions as mentioned above and imparted KT sessions for the same within the team.
