Recovering the database as necessary both partially (using either import or archived logs as required) and full database recovery (using hotbackups with archived logs). Tuning the database for optimal performance. 12.) Migration of the database from one version of Oracle to the next (Oracle 5.1a through Oracle 10g). 13.) Providing worldwide on-call support for in house databases and client-owned databases. This included support of Oracle 10g RAC databases using ASM.
