Test Lead for Order to Cash Solutions in Global Business Systems Solutions (GBSS) Project for leading Seattle Based Multinational Company operating Coffee based Retail Stores.
  • GBSS is a major transformational program where-in our client is redefining its operations across functions like Order Management, Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing and Financials using solutions defined in Oracle 11.5.10.2 Platform.
  • My role as a test lead is to lead a team of functional, business and test analysts to test and certify all solutions across the 3 major end to end Order to Cash Business Processes: B2B Order Fulfillment, Retail Order Fulfillment and Direct Store Delivery. This involved planning and managing the test planning and execution efforts of ~25 onsite and offshore analysts testing standard processes and custom solutions (including 100+ custom RICE Objects) across Order Management, Pricing, Shipping, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Inventory Modules in Oracle ERP and a Legacy JDA Order Entry and Material Management System for Retail Store orders.

  • The client is the largest food wholesaler and one of the largest privately held companies in US. They operate in 2 distinct lines of business: one as a Wholesale distributor of food and grocery products to Supermarkets and Retail chains across the country and the other as a provider of third party warehousing services for leading CPG manufacturers.
  • Direct to Store project involved conceptualizing a new supply chain model merging the 2 lines of business by servicing the Supermarket customers of the wholesale distributor business by purchasing goods on the fly from CPG manufacturer’s stocks in the third party warehouses, using solutions defined in an Oracle R12 Platform.
  • As a Functional Lead, I was involved in the project from conception including the Proposal stage where-in I was a key member presenting Infosys solution to the client. My responsibilities included Business process definition of the new Direct to Store Supply Chain Model, identifying the functional requirements, performing fit-gap analysis, anchoring the design and delivery of custom solutions as required and post go live support.My achievements include being a key member involved in the Project Win for Infosys and ensuring successful project delivery meeting client business objectives.

  • The Project first involved migration of Order and Distributor Management processes for business Operations in North America onto an Oracle 11.5.9 Applications Platform from a legacy HP3000 system.
