Confidential: Upgrade: Responsible for update of Windchill 9.0M070 to 9.1M040 on HP-UX. Migrating Aphelion to WDS (Windchill Directory Server) Replica Setup: Responsible for setup of replica server and configuring to master server. Cluster Setup: Responsible for simulating and setting up of cluster setup and rehosting of existing server to Solaris. Code Deployment: Responsible for setting up of specific custom code for the client.

FLEXTRONICS: Solely responsible in handling all Windchill servers, working closely with Geometrics for access related issues and project issues. KEY PROJECT DETAILS AT Confidential (07/08 - 01/10):

Confidential: Solely and primarily responsible for setting up all test, development & production servers. Also, responsible for configuring the servers with Active Directory, Medical Device Template configuration, Cognos configuration, Index search configuration and deploying medical custom codes and testing for the validity. Handling all server and database issues. Also, worked on various areas of ECAD and Pro E integrations. Successful replication set up for the medical project on both windows and unix replicas.

FLEX INFRASTRUCTURE: Solely and primarily responsible for setting up all test, development & production servers. Responsible for deploying custom infrastructure code and E-Ticket system code.

INTRALINK UPGRADE: Some of the sites in Flextronics uses Pro-Intralink 3.3 version. Server has been upgraded to Pro-Intralink 3.4 server successfully without any issues. Also, responsible for the user creations and managing the server.In the future they are planning to migrate to PDMLink newer versions. Trail runs are in progress.

AT Confidential:Solely responsible in setting up of all Windchill servers for File Vaulting and Replication team for different configurations and simulating customer scenarios in reproducing their bugs for development and verification. KEY PROJECT DETAILS AT Confidential (06/06 - 06/08):

Customer : Confidential Confidential is one of the customers for PTC that uses typical configuration of Windchill using IIS as webserver with clustered setup and HTTPS protocol. Provided the setup for simulating DELL scenario and reproduced the issues that they face like replication failure, batch replication failures and download time from Pro E.

Confidential, which is US defense force, uses another typical scenario of Windchill to communicate with customers. It uses a configuration typically consisting of clustered environment with one slave node (Internal) as HTTP and other slave node (External) as HTTPS. Problem is Upload and replication failure in the clustered environment.

Confidential, one of the booming mobile manufacturers uses Windchill for handling data. They are facing the problem while uploading CAD documents to replica making the replica folders to read only making replication failing.

Projects that are accomplishED:

Generalized SETUP: Generalized setup for all 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0 servers using VMWare images.

Brief Description of project: PTC is a market leader in providing CAD/CAM/PLM solutions globally to all of its customers. The problem encountered is hardware requirements for its Windchill servers management for reproducing and resolving bugs. Let us suppose that a first temp patch is delivered in first month by Vaulting team and a second patch is needed to be delivered by either workflow or PJL or search team etc... in the next month.

The same setup is to be done again for qualifying another patch on top of the first temp patch. It requires duplication of installation work to be done again and again for qualifying the temp patches. The resources required for the configuration in terms of manpower and system space requirements are enormous.

The solution for the problem can be solved by utilizing a free resource called VMWare.First, make a permanent setup using VMWare images for those customers which requires special configurations for their patch qualification and the customers which requests more temp patches. Place those images in a central repository that is accessible to all so that whichever team requires a server for their patch qualification can make the server available in no time.

REPLICATION SETUP:

Brief Description of project: In Windchill 9.0 for the replication to perform there is need to install replica server, which is called as CCS (Content Cache Server) for replication. For the same a full server is needed to be installed and download CDs from the browser URL and install at a remote location. This is a time consuming one every time.

A solution is provided for the same by providing input parameters manually and fires the installation before a full server gets ready and can resume working at a faster pace. By the solution provided a replica server can be installed in not more than 20 minutes. PG PROJECT :(Dec 2005 - May 2006)

Brief Description of project: Integration of MS Project with Change Management Object in Windchill PLM system in Lucas TVS', Chennai.

MS Project is a project management tool used to store project information including tasks, resources, assignments, durations, task relationships, task sequences and calculates information including dates, schedules, costs, durations, critical path and more. In Windchill work flow, the start and end dates for a task is allotted and these are static in nature and to make it dynamic and reduce the lead time in development, MS Project is integrated with Windchill by using Java as programming language.
