In high school, She joined their programming team, competed in competitions, volunteered to tutor fellow students in computer science and local elderly in the basic computer usage, completed two years of AP Programming courses and participated in FAU's Engineering Scholar's program. As She was very active in my computer science classes, her school eventually invited her to join their Computer Technology Academy program.

- Created a Java Web Application utilizing JavaServer Pages. With this application, I used Glassfish to create and access a SQL database in which a JavaBeans class would retrieve and add data to the Java database. I also utilize HTML5, Javascript, and CSS when creating the webpage to display the data to the screen.
- Created a Java GUI app that allows the user to click on the screen. Upon clicking a moving ball will appear and bounce off the edges of the GUI screen. This program uses Java threading to help maintain the movements of a maximum of twenty balls on the screen.
- Created an android app using JQuery Mobile, Cordova, HTML5, Javascript, and CSS that upon start of the program the user is told which connection they are on - this connection status will appear at the bottom of the screen and change when the connection changes.
