  • This was an incremental project in an existing Oracle R12.1.3 EBS system and included Contract Management, Procurement Contracts, Purchasing, iProcurement and iSupplier Portal.

  • Overall Delivery Manager for a Bid & Proposal / Purchasing solution for Confidential Rail, one of the largest rail car owners in the world.   • I led the implementation of Oracle Advanced Procurement modules for Confidential , including Sourcing and Purchasing logistics with custom Supplier Site management workflows and both internal and external Single Sign-on. My team was responsible for designing and implementing the Linux servers and network architecture to provide secure access to suppliers via the Internet. I worked with client leadership to build consensus for the solution across various IT organizations and senior IT management. This resulted in several implementation contracts for Oracle Consulting, with a significant opportunity pipeline for the following fiscal year.
  • I assembled and led a team of executive and senior business and functional experts to develop a multi-year solution roadmap for the consolidation and integration of all financial systems for the CFO of Bank of America. This roadmap leveraged both the best practices of the largest financial institutions and the latest in technology direction. The solution footprint included end-to-end financials, from customer source systems in multiple countries to sub-ledgers (AP/FA/PO), a financial services accounting hub, general ledger, consolidation, management planning and a data warehouse. Working with the CIO and CTO, key decision makers and leads from each business/functional area, we created a vision for the roadmap and built consensus for it throughout the organization.   • Green field implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite 11i.10 for distribution logistics of pharmaceuticals at Confidential , including CRM, Order Management, Financials (AP, AR, Payments with Credit Cards, GL), Purchasing, Inventory/Warehouse Management and TCA/Customer Data Hub. I led a creative team of functional and technical staff to design, develop and implement the entire solution in only 10 months.
  • I led the technical architecture design including integration with 8 different external systems, a custom client web interface, XML transaction messaging and integration with FileNet for image capture and transaction management. The complex TCA solution focused on Customers to meet complex HIPAA requirements, leveraging Customer Data Hub technologies and integrated with the corporate Customer database for data validation and transaction adjudication. My strong leadership and sales ability led to the client awarding Oracle Consulting with multiple extensions for upgrades and ongoing maintenance of the system. The project also won an award for one of the ten most innovative projects of the year at Oracle.
  • I led the proposal team for a project to upgrade and consolidate 8 instances of EBS 11i across Europe and Asia for Confidential. This proposal included a technical analysis of the upgrades and Confidential ’s, functional process analysis and standardization utilizing industry best practices, development of global planning and purchasing processes, and technical/operational analysis and planning for the migration to a hosting service provider. I managed the overall analysis of the project to size and prioritize the scope, working with client representatives in Spain, France, Greece, Portugal, Russia, Poland, Belgium and the Netherlands. We then proposed strategic implementation options to provide an optimum implementation roadmap and worked with client management to gain consensus. The proposal led to a contract award for Oracle.

  • I initiated and led an effort to review and improve the organization’s full Product/System Development Life Cycle (PDLC/SDLC) processes in compliance with CMM Level 2 & 3.
