Software Tester
Responsible for creating Test Plans, execution of test cases for various different Projects for the EMEA, APAC and US, testing PBX, KEY and HIPC services, raising IR/Defects related to bugs found during testing, both manual and automation, retesting IR/defects for fail/pass reporting, using the IR/Defect tracker of iPM (Internet Project Management) and ) QC (Quality Center) main application used ESAP (Enterprise Softswitch Activation Platform) and NGPS (Next Generation Provisioning Sys) performed Regression to make sure functionality continues to work as expected after codes drops as well as Production testing on a regular basis, reading/analyzing XML to understand order flow, provide and implement recommendations to the requirements Team for process improvements based on results of Quality Assurance testing, approving business docs, conference calls, WebEx presentations/training, interact with other Testers and Developers on a daily basis and providing technical support to other applications via chats, such as PC, CSSOP, ICP, BS, IASA, IBM/VM, etc. as well as with multi-cultural and international teams. Create/update spreadsheets to improve workflow, familiar with Microstation and ability to multi-task effectively.
Software Tester
As an End-to-End system tester for the FiOS/FTTP products, to include Voice/Data/Video, reading/analyzing business requirements documents, creation of Test Plans and execution of test cases, using the following systems to complete responsibilities: COFEE West, COFEE East, iVAPP, NOCV, SSP, vMobile, Workbench, CMIS, AAIS, BAAIS, NTAS, NCOG Log viewer, raising IRs and documenting results, in addition conf calls, Live Meeting and Sametime chats in a very fast paced environment.. 8/2002 to 12/2005 - Escalations on due date installs for DS0, T1’s and T3’s special services circuits and maintained an exceptional communication with various departments and levels to ensure work orders, DORs and Permits are on schedule, in addition worked with CO (Central Office) Wire Center, National Provisioning Center, Order Center, Dispatch, Outside Plant Engineering, Construction, COEI (Central Office Equipment Installation), Planning. Escalate and coordinate on past due disconnects for Southeast areas to free-up facilities to meet customers commitment due date; daily conference calls for resolution on customer complaints on past due dates. Helpline Technical Support, assist and modify circuit design; provide technical assistance to the Field and Central Office technicians, processing an average of 140 tickets per month, cross connect and condition coding as well as mapping/un-mapping for DS0, DS1, DS3, SONET and Message circuits for Southeast and Texas areas for Residential and Business; apply advance knowledge and research on ISDN, Frame Relay, ATM, PRI, BRI, Flexgrow and Fractional T-1 services as well as the equipment supporting such services. Use AAIS and NOCV on a daily basis. Efficient in MS Office.
4/2001 to 7/2002 - Responsible for all Busy Meet Point issues between Bell Atlantic and BellSouth for all regions, responsible for resolving and freeing up all busy meet points through advanced knowledge and research. Manage and maintain effective communication with Central Office and Field technicians also with upper level management staff within Bell Atlantic, BellSouth and Ordering Center for resolution. Ensure data integrity and accuracy of records through research and/or rearrange/change/remove of circuits when necessary, research disconnect Bell orders that are not yet disconnected from the Verizon Database to prevent future busy meet points.
Performed Root Cause Analysis for the CLR Report. (Circuit Layout Record) managed multiple tasks such as Due Date, CLR and no Bell meet point escalations; conference calls; and take necessary action for resolution to meet customer commitment dates. Served as focal point in communicating updates and changes for all escalations for the Center. Coordinate and complete special projects. Assist staff and team members in moving projects forward such as RDM (payroll system), verifying billing via EXACT and NOCV, etc. Acting supervisor for the South Designers and Admin reps.
8/1999 to 4/2001 - Responsible for the Root Cause Analysis of Miss Due Dates of all DS0, T1’s and DS3’s circuits for both Wholesale and Retail, for South, Florida and Virginia regions. Related all circuits misses information to appropriate regions via conference call for corrected action to improve the center’s objective and customer commitment due date . Using various systems OSSAMS, TBS, NOCV, SOP, EXACT, Client Server, TIRKS and MS Office to complete the analysis.
