Description The SAP Movement Tracking System (MTS) is to assist in the Scheduling, Tracking and Posting of inventory movements at NuStar. These inventory movements include Sales Orders (SO), Purchase Orders (PO) and Stock Transport Orders (STO). MTS is highly integrated with NuStar’s SAP back office system, allowing for the creation of customer invoices, goods receipts and inventory movements related to NuStar Commercial Marketing and Supply activity. It is a role based application. It integrates with SAP to allow for E-mail and faxing capabilities of event alerts and nomination activity. All the information captured within MTS is exportable to a spreadsheet environment if so desired.

Description : This is an Add-on for the Teradata customers who can use it to integrate with SAP APO for better performance bypassing the APO – BW component. Data loading from BW to LiveCache and back takes considerable time. This involves data conversion from Planning Area format (linked lists) to BW cubes format (star schema Complex macros require more time to run – as they do not use any database operations like grouping / summing / direct updates. To overcome the above issues Teradata planned to develop an adapter which will directly connect to LiveCache for extraction of data and as well as to load the data into LiveCache.
Contribution: I was involved in the following activities-
