The project took place at Los Angeles International Airport LAX , as part of Walsh/Austin Joint Venture improvements and addition to the new Tom Bradley International Terminal. Job Title: Scheduler
- Project Description:. This program is located throughout Southern California. The program is part of the federally mandated safety upgrades to the rail system in the greater Los Angeles area, in wake of the 2008 Chatsworth disaster. The program includes multiple projects and 70 locations where new communications infrastructure is being backhauled to a centralized command center at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. - Duties: As the scheduler for the project, and part of the project controls / construction management team, I am primarily responsible for review and approval / rejection of the contractor's monthly pay application submittals, ad-hoc schedules to help anticipate and forecast potential issues in the project and provide individual project and total program overview reports to Metrolink upper management and Board of Supervisors review.
