Served as a functional lead on a PeopleSoft 8.9 implementation at one of the largest school districts in the country. My primary responsibility on the project was the design, configuration and implementation of the Accounts Payable module along with the design and implementation of the districts procurement card process. I worked extensively with the district's functional area leads to design the system to meet current and future requirements. For the procurement card process a customization had to be designed to meet the district's budget tracking requirements. The districts procurement card department manages more than 1,100 cards using PeopleSoft today. My other major role on the project was the cleanup and conversion of the district's 23,000 vendors from their legacy system into PeopleSoft. This process eliminated thousands of duplicate and no longer active vendors. I was also responsible for the development of training materials and the actual training of district staff.
