PeopleSoft Talent Acquisition Manager Upgrade 8.9, Payroll 8.9 HCM 8.9

Implementation of Talent Acquisition Manager:

  • Involved in setting up the module and its interactions with the core HR system.
  • Generating the Recruitment Letters online and attaching them to the Applicant Record of the employees i.e. existing employees who were hired before a certain period of time.
  • Enabled the AutoSave feature in the new version so that there are no restrictions on the number of Results returned by VerityMB search.
  • Modified the Report, which displays the considered applicants so that it displays applicants related to some specific categories.
  • Modified the functionality of Manager 360 Page, which forms the heart of Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Designed a Setup Page, which determines the dispositions, which a given Role can view on the 360 Page. Employees can view specific dispositions based on his Role.
  • Responsible for adding code to the Application Package HRS_RECRUITMENT_TRACKING, which displays dispositions on the 360, Page based on the new set up Page.

  • Modified the default workflow associated with the I-9 compliance feature where an employee can collect and store all the I-Information.

Implementation of Financials:

  • Understanding the Functional Specifications given by functional person as a part of the Implementation.
  • Reversed Pricing Engine PC_PRICING process to apply burdens on project resource transactions and then apply the rates on to the burdened resource transactions.
  • Involved in development of several customizations like providing Account override feature in the Burden template which is not provided by delivered Peoplesoft.
  • Implemented a customization to re-calculate burdens called Burden re-calc process which re-calculates the burdens applied even after the transactions are passed to General ledger.
  • Developed a process to update the burden rates PC Burden Maintenance for specific template ids with new effective date.
  • Customized the Payment Predictor process AR_PREDICT in Accounts Receivable module to suit the clients requirement of only one payment worksheet to be generated after payment predictors Auto Maintenance process while the SP2 delivered process generated a single worksheet for each customer. The fix later came up in AR 8.4 SP1 Bundle #1.
  • Developed nearly six interfaces which involved pushing the sub-system information into General ledger through Journal generator process.
