  • HPD is a performance monitoring system developed for HR in PeopleSoft 9.1. The system provides an interface for the employee to enter goals for the year. The performance of the employee is evaluated at midyear and end of the year. The manager and the second level manager rate the employee's performance. The interface also allows input from a matrix manager for the employee who works for multiple managers. The ratings help HR to then categorize employees on 1 9 scale based on performance. This system also allows for setting up succession plans based on readiness scale of immediate , within one year , etc. Multiple reports can be generated both at Mid-year and End of the year summarizing the goals, performance, succession plans, readiness, etc. HR uses these reports to generate efficiency in resources by aligning the goals of individuals with the corporate vision. The system interfaces with Payroll to generate bonus, etc. based on individual's performance. I was involved in multiple aspects of this system design and development using various technologies like Javascript, Peopletools, HTML, with Oracle back end.
  • An offline module was created using Oracle database to enable the management to complete reviews of employees while in office. The system stores data locally and then synchronizes with the main Peoplesoft system when connected back to intranet.

PeopleSoft 8.3 eRecruit Implementation and Production Support

  • Lead and directed a team for the eRecruit implementation providing Technical support through the entire development cycle.
  • eHire system integrated with eRecruit - with eOffer and eResponse modules Singlehandedly designed, created specifications, and developed this custom system to enable the recruiters to have the offer approved by managers, send the offer to the candidate and get online response from the candidate. This system was created using PeopleSoft Workflow and extensive PeopleCode programming. Candidates can see the offer letter created online in Word RTF format. RTF programming was embedded in PeopleCode.
  • Recruiter Desktop Created a pagelet on the Portal for the recruiters to display information about their open requisitions. Links are provided to navigate to the eRecruit pages.
  • Customized the PeopleSoft eRecruit to allow for multiple Recruitment Administrators.
  • Created a process to generate Word RTF documents for communication to the applicants. This module was created using PeopleCode to create MS Word documents for user-friendly color RTF output. These reports were created using word templates and rtf programming.. These documents, e.g. Offer letters, Rejection letters, Interview letters, etc. were created and displayed online to the user.
  • Mass Applicant Transfer Created a module to mass update the status of the applicants for any Job requisition.
  • Designed and created a completely new Verity Index for the applcants to search through the Job requisitions. This was not available via delivered PeopleSoft. This allowed for a quick keyword search on job descriptions. This was programmed using SQR and UNIX Shell scripts.
  • Singlehandedly redesigned, and developed a process to build the Verity Index on Applicant Profiles for weekly complete refreshes and hourly incremental refreshes. The PeopleSoft delivered verity Index build program only ran efficiently for 80,000 profiles which did not meet the business requirement. The redesigned program efficiently processes and indexes 1,200,000 applicant profiles.
  • Integration with HireRight Configured Business Interlinks to integrate with HireRight to provide Backround check report. The messages, report, from HireRight are routed to the PeopleSoft eRecruitment using Application messaging. Tested the sync and async messages generated via transactions with HireRight.
  • Integration with Arbita This is a vendor for the all the Job Posting Boards like Monster, Dice, etc. eRecruitment posting can be published to Arbita and from Arbita to all the Job Posting sites. Arbita manages the posts on all the Job Posting boards on behalf of PeopleSoft eRecruit. The information from eRecruitment to Arbita is managed by Business Interlinks and Application Messaging. The asynch Messages from Arbita to PeopleSoft eRecruit were customized to provide additional information relating to the Job Posting board.
  • Created a module to track applicant activity. This is a Bar Chart on a page to display statistics for the applicants and Job Requisitions.
  • Interfaces Created interface to the American Job Bank using SQR. This included information about the about all the open Jobs posted in the eRecruit system. This is a nightly batch process scheduled via Maestro Scheduler and the output was sent via ftp.
  • Created interface to Arbita for the Job Posting Delete. This interface communicates all the postings that are to be removed from the Job posting boards. This is a nightly batch process and the output is sent via ftp.

PeopleSoft 8.3 HRMS

  • Created an SQR program to create Benefits Enrollment forms for Open Enrollments. These forms listed all the options and the costs of all these options available to the colleagues depending upon their locations of work and status orf employment. This could be run for an individual or in batch mode through nightly processing for the entire population. The data was sourced from Benefits Administration tables. The SQR program was customized from the delivered application.
  • Created a program to issue refunds to the employees for the partial deductions in case of a mid month terminations. The premium paid for benefits was prorated for the number of days in a month the employee was employed and the refund amount was uploaded to the paysheets as a Pay One Time refund. A panel was created for the user to see such refunds and approve them before they were paid out.
  • Created a report in SQR to generate a Total Compesation report. This included all the forms of compensation that was made to the employee and included the base pay, the bonus, the employer contributions to the 401K, the pension payments on behalf of the employee, the cost of benefits given for free to the employee, etc. This report was created and used during the annual talent review.

  • This is PeopleSoft system based on Oracle 7.0
  • Created a system bolted on the Benefits module of PeopleSoft HRMS. The employee elections were made and the beginning of the year each year. The Benefit enrollment information was used to create enrollment records in intefrface files to be sent to the vendors for each Benefit. The interface programs were written for each vendor. These interfaces ran each month and the output files were sent via ftp. SQR was used to create the interface programs. Created Pages to set up data for the vendors. The enrollment records were also used to create vendor invoices. These invoices were then sent to the Accounts Payable department to make the payments to the Vendors. Any terminations were also reported to the vendors via the interface files. Any creadits due from the vendors were also reported to the Vendors.
  • Created SQR reports to generate Imputed Income information. This information was generated for the Life Insurance benefits. The Amount of Tax due was inserted into the General deduction table in the payroll modules for deduction from the employees paycheck.

  • Finance ministers of the world meet once a year. The logistics were managed using a Sybase-Uniface system. SQR reporting, stored procedures, triggers were extensively used. I was involved in all the phases of system development - requirements gathering, prototyping, developing, and testing.
  • SQR was used to Mail Merge invitation letters to create Word Perfect documents. These were printed and mailed to the more than 200 delegates from around the world.
  • The hotel accommodation information for the delegates was tracked in the database and all the information was compiled to create a Phone Book for the event. This processing was all performed via SQR programs employing stored procedures and triggers.
