Senior Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Led multiple enterprise - wide medium to large scale multi-million dollar Audio Visual and IT installations for Fortune 500 businesses across the Asia-Pacific Region.
- Directed 30 team members and acted as an escalation point in order to guarantee all projects progressed efficiently, were profitable for the company, and to the satisfaction of our customers.
- Reported to the Country Manager and provided regular status updates on project delivery.
- Assigned resources and managed the schedules of the Project Team (PMs, Engineers, and Programmers) once an installation request was received from the Sales Department.
- Structured systems to enable the efficient handover of as-built information to the Maintenance Division upon the completion of every installation.
- Selected by Google's Senior Program Manager to supervise teams of PM's and engineers for their $50 million deployment of over 300 video conference (Hangouts) rooms across India, Japan, and Korea. As a direct result of my oversight, India became Google's first region completely installed with fully upgraded video conference rooms, whereas previous forecasts scheduled India to finish last overall.
- Program managed the deployment of Cisco High-Definition audio visual systems at J.P. Morgan’s branch office expansions across Japan. The project value was over $4 million and all installations ended 2-4 days ahead of schedule.
- Oversaw the commissioning of 40 Polycom video conference rooms, training rooms, and digital signage displays for Salesforce's office relocation project in Tokyo. Raised several red flags to note mismanagement by the former consultant and prevented further risks. As a result, their contract was eventually terminated. The client then assigned me to take the lead and be the sole point of contact for all audio visual related issues for the remainder of their project. The $1.2 million deployment was completed on time and within Salesforce's specifications.
