- Project Leader for the Legato Open Systems Backup/Recovery Team. Team consisted of seven members reporting directly to me.
- Implemented and converted entire backup environment from SCH Reels to EMC Legato Networker.
- Responsible for the entire EMC Legato Networker Backup Environment which included 7 Legato Networker Data Zones between two datacenters. Approximately 300 plus storage nodes and 2000 clients across all data ones.
- Set technical direction for the team in regards to Legato Networker upgrades and enhancements to the environments.
- Completed proof of concept and business case, obtained upper management approval and led implementation team for data de-duplication technologies (Data Domain and Avamar).
- Implemented Tape San technology and was responsible for performance and capacity management of the Tape San.
- Also provided third level support for all technical issues related to Legato Networker and the backup environment.
- Responsible for all license management with Legato Networker and liaison to EMC for Legato license issues and new Legato license purchases.
- Concurrently managed multiple high level projects for the Legato open systems backup environment which included gathering project requirements as well as acting as the technical lead on the projects.
