SUMMARY
I have been an Information Technology Professional for more than twenty years, the last seventeen of which have been mostly as a Project Manager, Program Manager and IT Executive. Having worked up through the ranks of IT has given me a unique and comprehensive insight into the many aspects of Information Technology and their roles and impacts on projects. I have managed a numerous variety of projects including, but not limited to: infrastructure, software development life cycle and business continuity projects. I have managed small and large projects with budgets exceeding 20,000,000. I have worked as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Program Manager having also established PMOs for clients. I have worked in Waterfall, Agile and Scrum methodologies, but I have always worked within any methodology my clients wish. I have managed projects from their inception and I have taken over fledgling projects and steered them back on track. I feel equally adept at either situation, therefore I have no preference. I believe that my organizational, negotiating, communication and interpersonal skills combined with a strong sense of professionalism and leadership have been the cornerstones to my success. I have continued to hone my technical knowledge. However the technology involved in my projects has never really made a difference in my ability to successfully deliver them within budget and scope. A strong combination of respect, empathy and patience with stakeholders and project team members alike leads me to a very amicable and strong working relationship with everyone involved in the project. I possess and utilize the ability to get everyone on the same page, excited about the project and focused on a successful completion. I can truly say that I love my profession and look forward to performing every aspect of it.
