  • Electronic Health Records EHR Co-Led efforts to upgrade IBC's extensive EHR records based on CMS guidelines. This was and remains an ongoing effort to develop long term relationship between IBC, its clinicians and subscribers to ascertain patient medical information while part of the IBC coverage umbrella. These measures were adopted to effectively reduce costs through elimination of errors and duplications while providing accurate and updated patient files to providers and healthcare professionals
  • ICD-10 remediation of diagnosis codes. A strategic plan was developed to incorporate a cross-walk approach to reduce cost and build out of a data and pricing repository. Provider and vendor testing was included in our efforts. A business team was also deployed to provide mapping requirements from older ICD-9 codes to the new I-10 requirements. Project concluded within a15 month period and delivered March of 2014.
  • Women's Preventative Health Service. Agile project geared to provide contraceptive coverage to female subscribers and dependents working within religious organizations. This project involved detail planning and working in sprints lasting 4 weeks to provide POC. This project included working in concert with legal teams to identify policy based requirements. Multiple business units including Card Services, Pharmacy teams and enrollment groups were identified to participate in sprints and privide support in prototype testing and deployment Project completed and was successfully delivered on time and budget in December 2013.
  • Out of Pocket Expense. Agile Based methodology focused on TDD Test Driven Development for re coded and re engineered applications designed to handle new federal requirements for subscriber out of pocket expenditure. Project was delivered on time and budget in December 2013.
