Manager System Integration and Technology

Role: Project Manager and Solution Architect. This is an integration project to synchronize client profile information between Salesforce, a legacy system and Master Data Management System supporting the company profile information for an Independent Blue Cross Blue Shield organization.

Role: Project Manager. The project was to design a global Collaboration and Knowledge Management portal using SharePoint within the managed markets organization of a large pharmaceutical company.

Role: Portal Strategy Lead. The project was to develop a treasury portal roadmap for a mid size bank. Responsible for overall project management and directing current state evaluation, identifying portal capabilities for the target state and high level roadmap

Role: Development and Build Manager. The portal project helped integrate many of the health and human services agency systems in New York City. The portal solution was built over a SOA architecture. The various underlying systems included IBM MDM server, IBM Message broker and FileNet Document Management. The portal will support 7000 case workers belonging to various agencies.

  • Responsible for the build and delivery of the portal solution while leading a nine member team.
  • Detailed project planning and effective risk management helped deliver the project on time and within budget.
  • Led the team in the architecture and design of the Weblogic portal solution.

Role: Project Manager and Solution Architect. The project was part of a multi-million dollar business transformation program. As part of the release the infrastructure was upgraded to a high availability platform and the portal application software was upgraded to the latest version.

  • Took over a project, which was behind in schedule and turned it around and delivered it on time. Identified risks and issues and executed a change order to re-define the project scope.
  • Effectively coordinated the tasks of multiple teams including interface, database, systems, testing, procurement and development.
  • Defined the solution blue print for future releases and facilitated architecture and design sessions.

Role: Technical Manager. The solution built for the New York department of buildings enables the imaging and storage of documents associated with the various construction activities and provide online retrieval. The approximate project cost was 6 M dollars. The solution was built on Documentum and Captiva and used SQL server as the database. The scanning solution was deployed to all the Burroughs of New York city and integrated to the permit process of the city.

  • Responsible for delivery of multiple work streams. Deployed the high impact project on time and within budget.
  • Architected the imaging and electronic document submission processes. Using this system architects and customers can submit documents electronically.
