  • Designed and architected a system to automate management of funding requests and approvals for a major NGO. Specked out the system and coordinated the requirements of well over 30 far-flung departments. After in-depth analysis of the current process, designed a solution to meet the clients’ specific needs, then managed a team of SharePoint architects and developers to build the site to the client’s specifications, employing an Agile process to engender end-user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Designed, engineered and built a custom policy server SharePoint platform for the organization and management of a major hospital’s policies and procedures, meeting HIPAA and other regulatory requirements. The site enables users to manage policies and documents, sort and categorize them, and employ custom, metadata-based search for individual terms or keywords and phrases. Administrative controls ensure that only those authorized to do so can alter existing policies.
  • Designed and built a SharePoint application to manage the search for an organization\\\'s chief operating officer. The site contained a repository for resumes, curricula vitae and other relevant documents. It included a discussion board that enabled the hiring team to post comments and incorporated a calendar to facilitate the interview process.

  • Created a custom SharePoint application to facilitate the management of virtual machines. The tool enabled IT management to quickly assess the resources of each server, where they were hosted, the load demands on each server and, so on. The end result was a single-point dashboard.
  • Architected and built a SharePoint interface for an enterprise ERP system. Users were experiencing difficulty extracting relevant information from the legacy system\\\'s reports. The project enabled the viewing of real-time reports, simplified existing data correlation functions, and incorporated the ability to add new parameters.
  • Designed and created a sales activity upload tool in SharePoint to simplify reporting from the field. Sales needed the ability to input data into an existing ERP system from multiple devices in the field. The end result was a spreadsheet that could be sent to a specific email address for instant uploading to and integration with data that was visible company-wide.
  • Upgraded a SharePoint installation by skipping a generation, from SharePoint Portal Server (2003) to SharePoint Foundation Server (2010), a project that encompassed significant changes in system requirements and SharePoint functionality.
