Project:

The goal of the project was to successfully add enhancements and additional functionalities to an existing application as per the stakeholders. Depending on client feed back and other surveys conducted by the company these functionalities would make the order process smart and easy for both existing and new clients. As a Quality Assurance tester, my role was to write smart test cases that would account for all possible scenarios where the functionalities would interact with the existing application. I made sure that the new functionalities and enhancements would operate well with the existing application through regression testing. I used Quality Center for defect tracking, maintained communication with the assigned developer to follow up with logged defects and ran regression testing to test the validity of the added functionalities. I interacted with Business Analysts responsible for the application requirements for further clarification to further write in-depth test cases.
