Supplier Development Management 9/98-2/99

• Leader of newly formed group with the purpose of establishingconsistent measureables to evaluate supplier performance and to identify VA/VE opportunities.
• Developed systems to track plant characteristics which correlate to engineering requirements. Monitored corrective action plans to ensure continuous improvement of measurables over time.

Plant Quality Assurance Manager 9/94-9/98

• Coordinated QS-9000 Registration process through the management of various functions and complementing corporate requirements ensuring compliance to
  standards. Awarded registration within 9 months of the start of the process of
  developing, implementing, and being assessed against QS-9000 standards.
  Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of the
  registered quality systems.
• Managed the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning processes to ensure customer and AIAG requirements are complied with, including design
  verification, product validation, and fit/function requirements at customer plants. Had final authority for final approval of parts delivery to OEM customers.
• Acted as customer liaison between OEM customers and the manufacturing plant communicating customer requirements to relevant plant personnel ensuring that parts were manufactured and delivered on time.
