Recruiting
- Full cycle recruiting from sourcing to on-boarding of administrative, financial, customer service, call center, mortgage and warehouse candidates for both non-exempt and exempt level management positions. Utilized internet job boards, candidate and client referrals, LinkedIn and passive recruiting techniques to keep a pipeline of qualified, available candidates for immediate employment opportunities for various local and national account clients. Screened potential candidates via telephone, in-house interviews, job fairs and by reviewing hundreds of resumes weekly. Proactively recruited candidates and presented to client company Hiring Leaders in an effort to increase sales revenue and untapped business opportunities.
- Organized and managed job fairs resulting in identifying more than 2000 qualified recruits for one client’s seasonal staffing needs requiring candidates who could meet FBI background investigation criteria.
- Increased administrative placements with a higher gross margin in a warehouse/light industrial based staffing office to improve branch gross margin.
- Billed $46,000 in direct hire permanent placement fees for fiscal year 2011 resulting in pure gross margin profit for the branch.
- Routinely kept up to 70 contract and contract to hire associates on assignment at over 20 plus client locations.
Sales and Customer Service Relationship Building
- Developed and maintained customer service and sales relationships by exceeding client expectations to encourage repeat business. This was done primarily by under selling and over delivering service.
- Managed branch operations ($1.6M sales) with a heavy emphasis in customer service and account management. Exceeded client expectations by recruiting, placing and managing high quality associates and demonstrating genuine concern to ensure both client and associate satisfaction.
- Developed new business at existing accounts, i.e. Presbyterian Hospital of Plano-grew account 65% by gaining HR referrals into other departments. Also obtained new business from Bank of America for their downtown Dallas lockbox from reputation developed at the Richardson lockbox.
- Promoted to Account Manager of largest account in the branch due to ability to develop and maintain relationship sales.
Account Management
- Managed total operations of largest account ($1M revenue) in the branch. Trained and managed 6 On-Site Managers that oversaw seasonal, temporary workforce of 400 associates that processed tax returns at a Bank of America lockbox for the Internal Revenue Service.
- Scheduled and managed 400 associates over peak seasons for a 24/7 work environment utilizing an MS Excel program.
- Reported accurately associate payroll that peaked at over 11,000 billable weekly hours totaling $110,000.
- Developed and nurtured a close relationship with Bank of America’s (lockbox) administrative team by consistently delivering and exceeding client expectations. In doing so, became the new primary vendor of choice over their current vendor. Accomplished this by consistently being able to meet client’s needs in a timely manner while operating within a difficult and time sensitive working environment.
Retail Management
- Managed all operational areas of a new retail garden center in Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training of initial startup crew for three stores.
- Utilized to create merchandising layout of stores due to ability to maximize sales potential by operating clean stores with smart, effective displays.
- Placed in projected high volume store due to ability to manage associates for maximum productivity.
- Developed reputation for consistently maintaining a clean, crisp merchandised store that was toured frequently by corporate executive staff.
- Responsible for all operational areas of a 2.5M garden center. Directly accountable for controlling payroll expense and markdowns, inventory control, buying, hiring and training of staff.
- Directly involved in conceptualizing and implementing new merchandising concept of store utilized throughout the region.

- Promoted from lowest volume store in Metroplex to highest volume store in the state (fifth largest in country) due to ability to effectively merchandise for sales increases as well as to create a clean, exciting shopping environment.
- Directed all operational areas of an off-price fashion department store with 30 employees and annual sales of 3.6M. Directly accountable for containing cost of sale, payroll and overhead expense budgets.
