Workers Comp: Prepare and file Form 2 to insurance company, track progress, reserves and expenses: track restricted duty employees, investigate accidents, and gather information to help correct the problems. Projects: Implement random drug policy, review and update handbook. Conduct in-house training on new processes for 150-200 employees on site and in the field. Assist foreman with computer issues and insure all meeting are being translated for all non English speaking employees.

Responsible for maintaining HRIS database (ADP-PeopleSoft-SAP) for approximately 370-420 employees, this includes adding new hire, employee evaluations, correction updates and circulating change notice for approval. Other duties were interviewing, the hiring process, orientation, benefits, discipline issues, terminations, answered EEOC requests and investigations and unemployment claims. Union: Worked directly with the union, participated in negotiations, chair monthly meeting with stewards, assist supervisors with grievances, actively participate in resolutions and proactive steps to avoid problems reducing grievances by 90%. ISO: Wrote policies for HR and handled audits. Developed and maintained over 75 job descriptions.

Misc: Liaison duties at General Motors, report issues to staff. Participated in QS 9000 surveillance audits and reviewed other department policies for updates and approval.
