ABSTRACT: A Blog is a type of web site, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary description of events or other materials such as graphics or videos. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. Blog can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Blogging applications come in all sorts and sizes. There are subscription based blog sites from commercial companies where we need to sign up for an account. Once we have an account we can sign into the company website to manage our blog.

  • MAJOR: A Geometric approach to improve active packet loss measurement (IEEE-2008)

ABSTRACT: Measurement and estimation of packet loss characteristics are challenging due to relatively rare occurrence and typically short duration of packet loss episodes. While active probe tools are commonly used to measure packet loss on end-to-end paths, there has been little analysis on the accuracy of these tools. We begin by testing the capabilities of standard Poisson- modulated end-to-end measurements and show that loss characteristics are quite inaccurate and thus we evaluate the capabilities of our methodology experimentally by developing and implementing a prototype called BADABING.
