Description
is one of the leading liner shipping, comprehensive provider of logistics, maritime and transportation company in the world, serving customers all over the globe. As a leading, world-class ocean carrier, they offer second-to-none, door-to-door transportation service
CINS provides an insight into the equipment costs through the provision of a breakdown of the container days incurred by the various activities taking place. This is achieved by dividing the container days between the locations at which the activities took place and categorizing the days by 8 Main Statuses, which are then sub-divided into Sub–Statuses.
This enables statistics to be produced on the equipment lifecycle, container volumes and activities per location and enables problem areas to be identified and equipment management decision making to be improved.
The project involves some enhancements that has to be done on build business intelligence model (Empty Model Release 2) for empty costs calculation which includes location costs (based on new costs feeds and stock details) in evacuation paths and deciding available data to get daily stock and equipment movement at different sites and extending analytics associated with new costs types to site and location level.
