• Cleaning up HSM and DFSMS environments as there are issues.
• Have 10 LPARS under 1 DFHSM environment and they want to split it to 4 environments. Ran HSM expirebv. It freed up over 400000 backup datasets and made over 500 tapes available for recycle. Recycled the tapes.
• Apparently no recycle process developed as recycled over another 1500 tapes.
• Audited the HSM MCDS and received over 9000 errors. Working on cleaning up errors
• Set up DB2 data base logical backups outside of DB2 but recommended they get a DB2 product to back them up.
