I spent first year creating a reporting application. The reports ran on cruise ships under contract with AT T. I needed to fly out to the ships port of call worldwide to install the application. Once the application was installed my job was to train the staff on how to use it. The application involved using B.I.D.S to get necessary tables from an existing OTLP Database and creating a new OLAP database with the table's I needed after analyzing the data I needed. I then used SSRS to pull the meta data into a nice report. Those reports were rendered thru a .NET web application.

I also used Windows Communication Foundation WCF to create a communication connection since this application's architecture was distributed on various servers.
