Parsons is the prime contractor for Department of Energy DOE SALT processing facility at the Savannah River Site. Duties include provide IS support and deliver innovative solutions via SharePoint Technologies. - Developed custom web parts written in C for project customers. Web parts consisted of data driven applications re-written to work inside SharePoint and Business Intelligence web parts that import/export data from legacy EDMS and Accounting systems.
- Developed a custom Visual Studio task based workflow approval system. The task based approval integrates with an InfoPath content type into a form/document library. When approval is required, the owner of the form initiates the workflow that sends a Microsoft task to a manager for approval. Tasks can be completed via blackberry, outlook and other integrated office tools.
- Duties also include administrating an 800gig site collection on the server level. Setting up user accounts, monitoring web server and database server activity, tweaking site crawls schedules, installing and managing patches for the server and different services running on the server.
