NBCS is an FDA Regulated Blood Banking system developed by American Red Cross (ARC), which supplies about 50% of total U.S. blood supply. This is a very large project with CMMI Level 4. The application consists of 2 major systems, DMIS (Donor Management Information System) and CDIS (Component Distribution Information System). It strengthens marketing efforts through development of targeted lists for recruitment, mailing, database analysis, and donor recognition programs.
