  • As the Database Manager/Administrator for a large Confidential C4ISR contract I was responsible for the initial planning stages of this newly awarded contract, to include proposal writing technical support, and system design initial specification.   • I have the responsibility for oversight and systems engineering direction for the future of the Confidential IRS program.
  • The original Confidential environment, which I maintained for four years, consisted of a Coldfusion application running on a MS Windows Server 2003, hosted through MS IIS with a MS SQL Server 2005 database on the backend.
  • The new Confidential architecture, that is being migrated to consists of a Tomcat application server and a Mongo DB/Postgres/MySQL Servers running in a Red Hat Linux Enterprise version 5 /VMware environment.
  • This was a migration from our previous MS Windows and MS SQL architecture.
  • This environment was integrated through a software integration strategy using Chef Server (cloud technology infrastructure).
  • Developed a few Chef recipes to install monitoring software for performance evaluation of the enterprise system.
  • Responsible for the technical strategy of future engineering efforts and database design implementations.
  • Ensure that strategies are in alignment with overall guidance from the Chief Architect and Engineering Director;
