Responsibilities:- Helped Disney’s WDPRO department create the new My Disney Experience app that people use to manage their vacations at Walt Disney World. We vastly improved the performance of version 2.x by writing a native, Objective-C app that calls its web services more intelligently and makes much better use of caching that data. Version 1.x was created by UI Evolution over the course of three years, but my team wrote version 2.0 from scratch in only six months.
- My duties included developing various aspects of the user interface, reverse engineering version 1.x to replicate its RESTful web service calls, and rapidly fixing defects created by our team of 20 iOS developers.
