Serve as Quality Technician/Document Technician in highly diversified job-shop. Perform patrol and first-piece inspection in machine bay, as well as in press bay. Generate inspection forms for all CNC-machined parts in machine bay. Review and revise operational procedures for Quality Department, and for production departments; occasionally write new procedures. Perform gage calibrations on all critical gages and meters. Generate Gage R&R studies as needed. Verify new CNC programs for machinists. As Document Technician, review and critique all levels of plant documentation for compliance to QS9000 standards, as well as to customer requirements.
