Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Subject Matter Experts the work included creating detailed documentation and testing of the evolving User Interface. The test results were recorded and all indentified bugs and deficiencies were brought back to the development team.
- The theoretical background documents for various sections of the application were produced and refined in close collaboration with subject matter experts of the multi-disciplinary team.
- The contextual help feature was created in HTML 5 format using Madcap Flare
- Edited and updated standard methods for rig equipment calibration and FAT testing with subject matter experts.
- Created a user manual for the assembly of key oil rig components.
- Proposed a design change in the Managed Pressure Drilling hardware, which was subsequently implemented, that resulted in decreased drilling downtime.
- Further improvements were made to the user manual including breaking up the Main manual into four specialized user manuals for technical staff involved with various stages of a drilling operation: operation, simulation, play-back and planning.
- Helped professional staff prepare and edit standard methods for calibration of important hardware and control systems to be used in the field.

- Published dozens of environmental air quality stories featured in Chatelaine Magazine, AWMA Journal and Environmental Newsletters.
- Developed a Quick- “health effects matrix” for a series of fact sheets for non-technical government officials, the general public, and news media organizations which resulted in increased public awareness and encouraged industry response.
- Participated in a departmental reporting team comprised of scientists, technicians and administrative personnel to develop impromptu presentations and reports for non-technical elected Canadian officials.
- Led the effort to revamp the data analysis methodology for the Confidential Quality Trends report series, and wrote the technical guideline document for the improvement of the Index of the Confidential .
