• Like a winding country road, my career path has been defined by many turns. Corporate communications and the creation of brand-leading marketing materials defined my role in my early work for a nationally recognized best practices consultancy. As a graduate student in France, my facility with English and French, along with my firm grasp of mechanical engineering processes and terminology, resulted in a role as a Technical Writer and Foreign Language Specialist. This role's diverse responsibilities included bridging linguistic and cultural divides to produce on-spec and under budget custom fabricated components for obsolete machines, while standardizing blueprints and mechanical drawings, reducing machining scrap by 35 .
