Senior Programmer Confidenital Maintenance and support of inter-departmental software processes. Design and implementation of software and hardware solutions. Inter-divisional and multiple platform product line and staff support. Development of software solutions in support of implementation of new HP3000 Operating System. Organized quarterly development agenda meeting. Organized and chaired inter-divisional meeting to improve communication, documentation and to eliminate any duplication of work effort. The database build process which I supported serviced clients such as state Medicaid, insurance carriers as well as independent businesses. This build process was designed to accommodate both monthly and quarterly database builds. I also supported, designed, and supported customized database builds for individual clients. The eligibility data used to support aggregate counts of covered individuals was engineered to accommodate monthly data receipt such as that used to support state Medicaid databases and quarterly. As a process owner, I worked on and supported the client help desk. I worked closely with vendors, clients and support staff on a daily basis to support and improve the process. I worked with many types of medical carriers as well as government offices to obtain data used in the build process. I implemented and tested the latest medical case grouping software used by the database build process to group medical claims and assign a DRG to the hospital case. During this implementation, I worked closely with the vendor of the grouper software as well as individuals in our research and policy group to eliminate issues which resulted in changes to the grouper software as well as new DRG codes. I created and maintained tables of medical information used in the database build for example one table contained the cross reference of CPT4 codes to medical procedure proc codes. Once these codes were translated they were then used to group medical claims to assign a DRG and build an inpatient case. Software Development and implementation of Generic Processes. Creation of complex Data conversion software products specific to individual client specifications. |
