Verification Team Manager (VTM)

Responsibilities:

  • Some TOs were prepared in house and some were prepared by vendors called, Integrators. In both situations, the VTM was responsible for administering the technical review by submitting the Comments Review Matrix (CRM) at different stages of TO process to different people assigned to the projects.
  • Once the technical review was completed, consolidated the comments then planned a teleconference to go over the comments. Integrators had the option to adjudicate the comments.
  • Each TO verification event was under the control of TO Manager and the VTM. Verification was done in the presence of two Verifiers assigned by Confidential ; integrators, assigned engineers and an editor also participated during verification.
  • The editor redlined the inconsistencies.
  • Once the verification was successfully completed, the editor incorporated redlines and finally submitted the TOs to the VTM for submitting to AF Space Command for final approval before submitting for publication.

Responsibilities:

  • Revised a Technical Manual for a highly advanced satellite simulator terminal interface, called an Confidential Interface.
  • The major task consisted of incorporating changes from the updated Graphical User Interface (GUI), paying particular attention to make sure all software codes were inputted correctly; also addressed the customers’ needs to include new procedures into the manual on an on-going basis.
  • Compiled the Software Test Data Sheets for the Confidential Verification Report.
  • Compiled the release notes, using Clear Quest.
  • Also, compiled the Confidential Enhanced Polar System (EPS) documentation.
  • The EPS was used for only extended data rates.
  • Interfaced with engineers to obtain the technical data to update the manuals and clarify the inconsistencies in the Graphical User Interface.

  • Documented numerous publications for various products of the newly acquired businesses.

  • Created a new website user’s guide, using the graphics form the MS PowerPoint presentation and wrote a detailed procedure as to how to use this guide in conjunction with the secured website.
  • This was the first such project initiated by Confidential Industrial Sensing, making customers’ tasks easier to monitor and gather the parameters from the remote site.
  • Re-branded the numerous archived manuals to apply Confidential Sensing standards, burned CDs and made backups, prepared labels and stored them as archived data.
  • Due to the problem with some of the archived manuals on the CDs, suggested to the immediate manager that all the archive data must be transferred over to the network instead of archiving on CDs. This suggestion was well received and eventually implemented.
