Responsibilities

  • Analyzed the pain points in the current system and what led to the adoption of new infrastructure.

A significant set of these documents has crossed their life and of no use. This huge volume has now become a serious concern related to storage and search capabilities of the application. To overcome all of these difficulties Confidential has decided to use EMC's Retention Policy Services RPS for a controlled record management.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing the current business problem related to record management.

The overall upgrade strategy is to build new 5.3 versions of existing content servers on Red Confidential operating system. The move from Red Hat to Solaris is a cost saving for client and the virtualization of these operating system introduced improved flexibility to clone new application instances in the event of hardware and system failures and to handle system spikes in system, load.

Each content server upgrade will be performed on new hardware in order to minimize downtime to end users

Image Retirement As the name is self explanatory Image Retirement , motive of this project is retiring an existing system which is built on Image plus IBM Content Management tool to Documentum 6.x platform. Confidential was using image system as a data house for a quite long time. But as the vendor had stopped to stop its support for Image Plus after Dec 2007, Confidential as moved to Documentum as its next level of Content Management Tool.

Responsibilities

  • Worked as an onsite coordinator. Bridged the communication between client and offshore team to implement a successful onshore-offshore model.
  • Designed the application .supported by a detailed list of Sequence and Class diagrams developed in Rational Software Architect 6.0 RSA
